Take heed: there's a new spot in town to savor modern American cuisine. The new addition, called Branch, is open at 1535 Madison Road in the former Central Trust Bank branch building, and is designed with some of the bank’s décor such as the bank’s vaults.
Littlefield Restaurant Group’s managing partner, John Ford, states the goal was to keep as much of that original décor as possible for the new restaurant. Whether dining in for brunch or dinner, Branch offers a large menu selection that varies from French toast and frittatas to smoked wings and scallops.
Enjoy a breakfast like the “Banker’s Club,” which has house turkey, house bacon, roasted olive tomatoes, Hinmen bleu cheese and sage aioli and add a croissant. Stopping by for dinner? Then try the crispy skin-on salmon or the Fra’Mani Italian sandwich with spicy capocollo and salame gentile.
You can view the dinner menu here and the brunch menu here. Reservations are available, but not required.
With a five-star rating out of three reviews on Yelp so far, Branch has already made a good impression.
Lauren Y. enthused about the "beautiful and delicious" cured salmon and cardamom sticky rice with kimchi, as well as the entrees: "I had gnudi served in a delightfully rich mushroom sauce and my boyfriend tried the ribs, which were probably the star of our meal."
And Jessica N. wrote, "Our group got the lentil kofta, roasted cauliflower and house pickles to share. The lentil kofta was my favorite but it was all great. For entrees, we ordered the ribs, tuna and ragout, respectively and each enjoyed them so much."
Interested? Stop by to welcome the new business to the neighborhood. Branch is open for dinner from 5 p.m.–10 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 5 p.m.–11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 5 p.m.–9 p.m. on Sunday; and for brunch from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on weekends.
