A new spot to score burgers, salads and sandwiches has opened its doors in the neighborhood. Called Grub Kitchen and Bar, the new addition is located at 3101 Heritage Trace Parkway, Suite 101.
With locations in seven states, it has developed a reputation for its 100 percent fresh beef burgers on buns baked from scratch daily. From nearly a dozen different signatures burgers, diners can choose the Mac 'n' Cheeseburger with the famous side on top of the patty, or go with the Lockhart Legend that contains bacon, cheddar cheese, Dr Pepper barbecue sauce, two onion rings and pickles.
Not in the mood for a burger? No problem, as Grub Kitchen and Bar offers a salmon bowl, salads and chicken and pork sandwiches. (Click here to view the full menu.)
For drinks, try one of their handcrafted shakes, or order wine, a beer or a cocktail.
With a 4.5-star rating out of seven reviews on Yelp so far, Grub Kitchen and Bar has already made a good impression.
Linda L., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Jan. 15, wrote, "I loved the atmosphere—sleek and modern with a fast food twist. Their customer service was amazing and everybody was definitely on top of their game. ... All in all, I was pleasantly surprised and will definitely be back soon."
And Callie S. noted, "The menu is short but sweet, not complicated like other burger places, and the burgers are all unique but thoughtfully curated."
