TapHouse Kitchen is a New American spot run by Chef Patrick Karvis, who cultivates modern American fare that compliments the extensive craft beer menu — 40 beers on tap and four beer flights.

Dig into starters like the jalapeño pepper jack tater tots, which come with B.L.T. toppings and roasted garlic aioli. For a more hearty option, the establishment serves entrees like pan-seared salmon (with baby kale, arugula, lemon, fennel and red chimichurri) and a variety of burgers. (Check out the full menu here.)

Reviews are mixed for this new spot, with a 3.5 star rating from Yelpers so far.

Yelper Karina R. noted, "We were seated and given menus and quickly realized that there were no appetizers on happy hour and only about a dollar off of drinks, which in my personal opinion is a little over priced. I was really hoping this place would be a great spot for apps and drinks but it won't be the case. The decor and vibe of the place is really nice, with mellow lights and lots of natural light."

And Megan C. wrote, "In a nutshell: gorgeous space, earthy and modern at the same time. Boisterous. Extensive selection of craft beers, both local and otherwise. Great cocktails and wine list too, with comparable pricing to most restaurants of this stature."

TapHouse Kitchen is open from 11 a.m.–10 p.m. on Monday-Thursday, 11 a.m.–11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 11 a.m.–9 p.m. on Sunday.

Starbucks is a familiar spot to score coffee, tea and more.

With plenty of place to sit and relax inside and on the patio, this Starbucks location offers the chain's usual items like the caffe latte, Caramel Frappuccino and cold brew coffee, along with breakfast and bakery eats. For a quick bite, customers can also take a spin through its drive-thru. (Check out the full menu.)

With a 4.5-star rating out of five reviews on Yelp, Starbucks has been getting positive attention.

Libby P. noted, "Spacious seating area, but could use more tables with charging ports vs. the cute seating arrangements they have now, since it's being used by quite a bit of students and others with PCs and tablets, working. Love the decor though, the service was friendly and fast, and both my tea and coffee were done just right."

Yelper Karen H. wrote, "Love this location. Easy to get into and [there are] usually tables to sit and enjoy coffee. Friendly employees!"

Starbucks is open from 4:30 a.m.–9:30 p.m. Sunday-Thursday, from 5 a.m.–9:30 p.m. on Friday, and 5:30 a.m.–9 p.m. on Saturday.

Yelp users are excited about the new pub, which currently holds 4.5 stars out of 13 reviews on the site.

Yelper Leanne L. wrote, "If you're looking for something unique that opens up conversations with your community members with fun board games, ping-pong and foosball, along with an incredible selection of beers, wine and food, this is your new local hang out!"

Samantha B. noted, "They have an extensive beer menu so there's definitely something for everyone. When we went back up to order and weren't sure between two beers, the guy was super helpful and recommended a popular beer and gave us a taste before we ordered. Every staff member we encountered was welcoming and willing to help or answer any questions we had."
