A new Asian fusion spot has debuted in the neighborhood. Called Lemon Thai & Sushi, the newcomer is located at 470 S. Main St. in Wolfe Park.
The highlights of the menu include eight different Thai salads, house specialties, lemon Thai curries, a create-your-own stir fry and Thai noodles. Diners can opt for the spicy bamboo stir fry with sliced bamboo, onions, carrots, bell peppers and scallions with chicken, or the drunken noodles that comes with shrimp, chicken, flat noodles, Thai chili sauce, basil leaves and vegetables.
Lemon Thai & Sushi has gotten an enthusiastic response thus far, with a 4.5-star rating out of three reviews on Yelp.
Yelper Ian W., who was among the first to review it on Dec. 19, said, "They serve up the standard Thai dishes, including Thai noodles, fried rice, curry dishes, stir fries, salads, soups, Thai specialty dishes and also sushi and sashimi platters. The prices here seem in line with other Thai restaurants in the region."
And Dan C. wrote, "I stopped in for lunch. I had Penang curry with chicken. It was quite good, and the prices are really reasonable. The waitress and staff were quite friendly. I'm looking forward to coming back and trying the pad kra pow or drunken noodles."
Head on over to check it out: Lemon Thai & Sushi is open from 11 a.m.–9 p.m. on Monday-Thursday, 11 a.m.–9:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and noon–9 p.m. on Sunday.
