A new sushi bar and Japanese spot has opened its doors in the neighborhood. Located at 1839 Central Ave. NE in Windom Park, the newcomer is called Momo Sushi.
In addition to sushi and sashimi rolls and platters, this Japanese restaurant also has appetizers, soups, salads, hibachi entrees, udon and desserts on its expansive menu. Look for classic sushi favorites such as the California roll or spicy tuna, or opt for something a bit more unique like the squid roll or the egg omelet roll.
The new sushi bar has made a good impression thus far, with a four-star rating out of four reviews on Yelp.
Yelper Tea D., who was the first to review it on Jan. 8, wrote, “A new neighborhood gem! Relaxed ambiance, delicious momos and affordable prices for a date night. We had a three roll sushi combo for $11.99 and between tuna, shrimp tempura and the California roll, they were all great!"
And Alissa F. added, "Love this spot! Very reasonable prices for high quality sushi. The vegetable gyoza was also spectacular!"
