Hoodline crunched the numbers to find the best affordable Mexican restaurants around Phoenix, using both Yelp data and our own secret sauce to produce a ranked list of where to venture next time you're on the hunt.

1. Kiss Pollos Estilo Sinaloa

Topping the list is Kiss Pollos Estilo Sinaloa. Located at 306 W. Yavapai St. in Central City, the Mexican spot is the highest rated inexpensive Mexican restaurant in Phoenix, boasting five stars out of 186 reviews on Yelp.

2. PHX Burrito House

Next up is Encanto's PHX Burrito House, situated at 4140 N. Seventh Ave. With 4.5 stars out of 577 reviews on Yelp, the Mexican spot has proven to be a local favorite for those looking for a cheap option.

3. Tacos Chiwas

Central City's Tacos Chiwas, located at 1923 E. McDowell Road, is another top choice, with Yelpers giving the budget-friendly Mexican spot 4.5 stars out of 474 reviews.
