1. Modo Yoga

Topping the list is Modo Yoga. Located at 3252 W. Lake St., Unit B, in Uptown, the yoga and barre class spot is the highest rated fitness spot in Minneapolis, boasting 4.5 stars out of 78 reviews on Yelp.

Yelper Iris H., who reviewed it on Oct. 18, said, "This really is my favorite yoga spot. The vibe is relaxed and welcoming and I've never felt out of place in any of the classes. They have lots of seating available as well as hot tea for before or after."

2. The Firm

Harrison's The Firm, located at 1010 Second Ave. North, is another top choice, with Yelpers giving the gym, personal training and yoga spot 4.5 stars out of 60 reviews.

The best spin classes, Pilates, plain old free weights—it truly has it all. Kudos also for the ease of parking in this area, the convenient location and the professionalism of the staff."

Over in Lowry Hill East, check out One Yoga Studio, which has earned 4.5 stars out of 43 reviews on Yelp. You can find the yoga spot at 721 W. 26th St.

5. Alchemy
