Starwood Cafe

Starwood Cafe is a cafe, diner and breakfast and brunch spot.

The company, which has 10 other locations in Texas, serves breakfast all day and offers an extensive and varied menu. For breakfast, there are eggs, omelettes, pancakes, Belgian waffles, crepes, skillet items, french toast and Starwood favorites like the country breakfast with two eggs, hash browns and a homemade biscuit with gravy.

Moving on to lunch, customers can choose between  sandwiches, paninis, burgers and salads. 

With a 4.5-star Yelp rating out eight reviews, Starwood Cafe has been getting positive attention.

Eric C., who reviewed it on Dec. 28, wrote, "We have been to several of the Starwood locations and are always happy with the food and service. Our first trip to this new location was perhaps the best. The entire staff was friendly and attentive. We had breakfast and enjoyed the large, tasty portions."

Yelper India F. added, "This cafe is such a cute little setting! Perfect for catching up with friends and even a cute breakfast date! I had the waffle with chicken apple sausage and it was so amazing!"

Layne's Chicken Fingers

Layne's Chicken Fingers is a traditional American spot.

With six locations across Texas, Layne's has a straightforward menu. There's a three, four and five chicken finger meal deal that comes with fries, Texas toast and a drink, as well as various sandwich options. For a drink, try one of the hand-spun milkshakes. 

With a four-star rating out of four reviews on Yelp, Layne's Chicken Fingers has been getting positive attention.

Yelper Ross B., who reviewed it on Sept. 29, said, "Excellent chicken. Loved the club sandwich and shake! For me, the club is what makes Layne's stand out from the competitor. Layne's will be my go-to."

Layne's Chicken Fingers is open from 10 a.m.–10 p.m. on Monday-Thursday and Sunday, and 10 a.m.–11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.

King & Cardinal

King & Cardinal is a spot to score burgers, bubble tea, smoothies and more.

Stop in for a variety of wings, with eight different sauces, 10 burgers options and sandwiches. Don't miss out on the shakes, which come in nine flavors, or tea from the bubble bar. 

King & Cardinal currently holds three stars out of seven reviews on Yelp, indicating mixed reviews.

Yelper Nitin S., who was one of the first users to visit King & Cardinal on Dec. 31, wrote, "We had the chicken burger, popcorn chicken, chicken cutlet and a couple of their shakes. The food is decent and the place is bright."

Shannon C., however, noted, "I got a chicken sandwich that I don't think had any chicken on it—literally just looked like a thick bun with a thin layer of panko breadcrumbs and was spicy as heck with zero warning or indication."

King & Cardinal is open from 11 a.m.–10 p.m. Monday-Thursday and Sunday, and from 11 a.m.–midnight on Friday and Saturday.
