A new health food and New American eatery has opened for business in the neighborhood. The new arrival to Sunset Hill, called Lucky Santo, is located at 3127 N.W. 85th St. It's the project of Stoneburner chef-owner Jason Stoneburner and chef de cuisine Nikki DeGidio.
The self-proclaimed "healthy joint" is "free from gluten, dairy, grains, legumes, refined sugar, soy and canola oil unless otherwise noted," according to the business' website. DeGidio was diagnosed with celiac disease two years ago, according to Seattle Met.
Notable menu options include beet curry with cauliflower rice and onion samba; the Superfood Salad complete seafood, carrots, broccoli and ginger vinaigrette; and grilled steak with orange oregano chimichurri. Here's the menu.
With a 4.5-star rating out of seven reviews on Yelp so far, Lucky Santo has been warmly received by patrons.
