For lunch, try the Margie's Meltdown, with hardwood-smoked ham, oven-roasted turkey breast, tomato and sautéed onions on your choice of bread or roll. It's served with hand-cut onion rings.
3. The Red Barn Diner
Bakersville's The Red Barn Diner, located at 113 Elm St., is another top choice, with Yelpers giving the low-priced American diner four stars out of 48 reviews.
The Red Barn serves breakfast, lunch and dinner in a casual space — complete with a breakfast bar. Expect everything from pancakes, French toast and egg sandwiches to chicken strips, burgers and salads.
