The Addams Family vs The Munsters

The Alwun House Foundation is hosting "The Addams Family vs. The Munsters" on Saturday. All the members of the two families, including Morticia, Uncle Fester, Dr. Frankenstein and Eddie, will duke it out in competitions ranging from sword swallowing, belly dancing, singing and other acts. Then, audience members will vote to determine which family wins.

"The Music Man"

The Herberger Theater Center is hosting a performance of the Tony Award-winning musical-romance "The Music Man." The show is about a con man whose plan to swindle the people of a small town in Iowa backfires when he develops a liking to its citizens and falls for the local librarian.
The Arizona Star called the show "a joyous theatrical experience [that] envelops the audience with memorable music, remarkable dance and fine acting and singing."

"Hostage"

The play "Hostage" is playing Friday at the Herberger Theater Center. It is based on the true story of when the American Embassy in Iran was overtaken in 1979. The performance is a fictional tale about how a Marine, who was one of the hostages, is reunited with his mother and how the family is treated upon their return to the U.S.
