Willie The Kid | Private Loft Concert

Next, catch Willie The Kid and Mikeflo in concert on Saturday at The Chicago Place. The promoter of event describes Willie The Kid's music and lyrics as, "a wondrous contrast, pairing lush experiences with the grit of street poetry. His bristly lyrics, unpredictable rhyme patterns and colorful vocabulary are often woven between lush, head-nodding production."

Afro Fusion Celebrates Ghana @ 62

Also on Saturday, hit The Promontory to experience "Afro Fusion Celebrates Ghana @62." Dance and listen as Hip-hop, R&B, Raggae, Afrobeats and other genres are fused together by international DJs to recognize the African country Ghana's independence day, which occurred on March 6, 1957. Afro Fusion, according to the promoter of the event, is Chicago's most diverse international partying experience.
