Art Battle Atlanta

Come check out this art battle Thursday night at the Westside Cultural Arts Center. A plethora of artists will be on hand and will start the night with a blank black canvas. Twenty minutes later, the artists will finish, and those in attendance will vote for their favorite.

All artwork will be available for purchase at the end of the show.

Liquid Blackness

Come join Georgia State University faculty founder Alessandra Raengo for Liquid Blackness: A research group on the aesthetics and blackness of the Moving Image Studies program.

The event will feature a performance and  accompanying discussion of "(A) Black Lineage of the Music Art Video." Enjoy drinks and a conversation about the history, evolution and future of the black music video.

Walk Her Shoes

Come share your personal journey with the Movement Lab. Together with other women from around the community, the event will celebrate overcoming obstacles, self-respect, nurture, beauty, activism and more. The goal is to capture and re-create these stories for the world to see.
