Terri M. Lee, Chief Housing Officer for the city of Atlanta, will be the featured guest at this early-morning event hosted by the Center for Civic Innovation. Lee aims to improve community development through creative solutions. The venue will provide attendees with a light breakfast and coffee.

NAHSE ATL is hosting a panel discussion at Georgia State University this Thursday. The seminar, which will be led by healthcare professionals, addresses diversity and inclusion in the healthcare sector.

A Discussion with Leah Penniman
Leah Penniman, author and co-founder of Soul Fire Farm, a community farm committed to ending inequality in the food industry, will discuss her book "Farming While Black: Soul Fire Farm's Practical Guide to Liberation of the Land" this Sunday at Spelman College.
Following the conversation, there will be a book signing and a panel discussion featuring Chris Edwards of Mayflor Farms and Ras Kofi of On Da Farm, among others.
While the main auditorium is sold out, there are still tickets available to snag a seat in a viewing room, where the event will be live-streamed.
