A new Peruvian spot has opened for business in the neighborhood. Located at 200 N. Green St. in West Town, the newcomer is called Cabra Cevicheria.
The rooftop restaurant is part of the Hoxton Hotel. Chef Stephanie Izard told Chicago Tribune that several menu items were inspired by her travels to Peru. On the menu, look for the ceviche, Shrimp Tacu Tacu, and the Aji de Gallina.
The new addition has gotten good reviews thus far, with a four-star rating out of 12 reviews on Yelp.
Patrick C., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on April 4, wrote, "We went for an early dinner on opening night and were very pleased. The food, beverages, service and venue were all outstanding. Everything we ate was flavored well."
Yelper Susan P. added, “Great food! The skirt steak was our favorite, and both desserts were awesome (ice cream with mango and rhubarb and sweet potato doughnuts)."
Swing on by to take a peek for yourself: Cabra Cevicheria is open from 4 p.m.–midnight on Monday-Wednesday and Sunday, and 4 p.m.–1 a.m. on Thursday-Saturday.
