Isabella, dachshund mix

Isabella is a female dachshund mix currently housed at Dachshund Rescue of Los Angeles.

Isabella is here to make friends — she's happy to keep company with cats, dogs and kids. She already has all of her shots, and she's been spayed. She's still working on getting house trained.

From Isabella's caretaker:

Isabella is a gorgeous young one year old and 17 lbs dapple possibly a dachshund mix. She is a sweet and special girl waiting for her forever home. Might she be the one for you? She loves to play and chew on hard chew toys. Gets along with the dogs and cats. She has growled at the dogs when she’s next to her foster mom and they want to come up and join in. She likes to play with the cats and chase them. Isabella does well on a leash, is very playful and likes toys. She likes sleeping in the big bed. Once she warms up she should be fine with men, women and children. She is learning to use the doggie door and in the meantime using pee pads.

Violet, shar-pei

Violet is a female shar-pei dog being cared for at I Stand With My Pack.

Violet is the life of the party — she gets along well with other dogs. Her vaccinations are up to date, and she's been spayed.

From Violet's caretaker:

When we first met Violet we were in shock. She was by far the most neglected dog we have met. Very sick and on the verge of giving up. We needed to pull her out of the shelter immediately, we were her last chance for life. She is a fighter and she`s getting better every day. She is pampered with love in her lovely foster home and she`s ready to meet that one special family who will give her endless love and care. Violet is only two years old, her past was really dark and but we will make sure her future is bright and happy.

Max, cane corso and mastiff mix

Max is a male cane corso and mastiff mix being kept at I Stand With My Pack.

Max is a social animal — he'll get along great with other dogs. He has all of his shots, and he's been neutered. He is already house trained.

From Max's caretaker:

Meet Max! Max is a beautiful cane corso mix who has been at the shelter for eight months and his days were numbered. He was an owner surrender. Max is full of energy as he spent so much time in confined space. He is a very strong dog and needs experienced handler, preferably someone familiar with his breed. Even though he is absolutely majestic Max is not dog for every human. He will need training and boundaries and right love to become that perfect dog he is meant to be.
