ForWord's Spring 2019 Creative Writing Workshop

ForWord, a BorderSenses Literary Project, invites teenage and college students to participate in a free creative writing workshop at Glasbox Studios. Students will develop their creative and critical writing abilities through lectures and hands-on activities of fiction and poetry, all in a lively and supportive environment. Our workshops are taught by UTEP, EPC and DACC faculty, poets and writers. All participants will receive an edition of a ForWord chapbook. Seating is limited to 50 seats for the event.

Bowie Fiesta

The 2019 Bowie Fiesta is a large community festival, free and open to the public. There will be live music and entertainment, a car show, games and food.
