This amazing 12-year-old purebred American Curl is just the sweetest girl ever! This girl needs a calm and quiet home. We aren't going to say outright that she must be an only child, but in all likelihood that is what will be best for her unless your current pets are really calm and easygoing. We think she would be happiest without young children. She can seem quite shy when you first meet her, but she is extremely sweet, gentle and loving.

Zoey is a 3-year-old golden Persian who will soon be the love of your life. She is sweet, loving and playful, but still can be a little shy. She does have a few specific but important requirements. Because of her turbulent past, which resulted in some now resolved stress-related health issues, she must have a calm, quiet home where she is the one and only (no little humans or other pets), soft litter (because her toes were cut off) and she does require a special diet. However, we don't think these small requests are much to ask in return for this kind of fabulousness! Like most cats, she may not love to be held, but she does love to be with you and boy she is a good kisser! 

Gypsy is a lovable female domestic shorthair cat being cared for at Music City Animal Rescue.

She has all of her shots, and she is spayed. Have no fear: She has already been house-trained.

Here's what Gypsy's friends at Music City Animal Rescue think of her:

Gypsy is an absolutely stunning girl with incredibly expressive eyes. Gypsy is very loving and affectionate. She has a very slight limp on her back right leg, but the vet said it was a previous injury that healed beautifully and she has no problem getting around. Gypsy is a kitten at heart she loves to play! She loves other cats and does good with older kids. Gypsy is fully vetted and will be microchipped before she gets adopted.

Dexter is a male domestic shorthair cat being kept at Music City Animal Rescue.

His vaccinations are up to date, and he is neutered. He's mastered his house-training etiquette.

Notes from Dexter's caretakers:

Dexter is about a year old and was raised by his foster mom since he was 10 weeks. He had a broken leg and a severed lip. It healed pretty well but his back leg is a little disfigured. He gets around perfectly fine, and although he sits funny sometimes, he uses his leg almost like normal and can jump around and up with no trouble. Dexter is super playful and loves to cuddle. He’s trained to do tricks, too. He can sit and high five.

Goose is a lovable male tabby cat in the care of Music City Animal Rescue.

Goose is a social butterfly — he loves other cats and dogs. Goose is neutered and vaccinated. Fear not: He has already been house-trained.

From Goose's current caretaker:

This handsome orange tabby with the incredible yellow eyes is Goose! Goose is extremely loving and affectionate. He can be a little shy in the beginning until he gets to know you and to know that you won't hurt him. He loves to be pet and scratched on his face and around his ears. He also loves belly rubs! Goose has been living in a foster home with other cats and with three low/mid-energy large breed dogs. He seems fine with other cats. He is not an alpha-type personality. Goose would probably be OK with older children over the age of 12 as loud noises can startle him.

This precious boy came to us from a local animal control shelter where he had been taken after being attacked by a group of dogs. He got lots of love during his recovery, but it's just not the same as being able to run free. He is now ready to find his forever home where he can be the kitty he was always meant to be! He is so sweet and loving and playful. He is all the way up to about five pounds now and will likely always be on the smaller side, but it makes him so cute! This handsome boy is Holmes. He is a great big beautiful orange tabby who is a lovable, goofy lug! He, along with his younger brother, Watson, were dumped in a field on a cold night and luckily, a nice lady found them. No owner came forward, so, after trying unsuccessfully to find their family, she reached out to us. Holmes has been fully vetted FIV/FeLV negative and been on flea and worm preventative. Holmes is extremely affectionate and loves attention.
