Cisco, Labrador retriever
Cisco is a male Labrador retriever dog in the care of Cincinnati Lab Rescue.
He already has all of his shots, and he is neutered. He is already house-trained.
Notes from Cisco's caretakers:
Cisco, a three-year-old, was taken from a neglectful situation and that alone is reason enough to want to help this sweet pup. When we approached him in his kennel, he softly growled, but we weren’t deterred and brought him into a different area. Within seconds, he crawled right in our laps searching for some affection. It’s no surprise that he needs to build trust and confidence but he just wants to be loved and feel safe and secure.

Carmel will get along great with other dogs. She is already house-trained. She is spayed, and she has all her shots.
Notes from Carmel's caretakers:
Carmel is sweet 60 pounds and six-year-old. She came into rescue after she was dumped at a rural Kentucky animal shelter with several large tumors. She was rescued just in time, she also had pyometra (infected uterus). The veterinarian didn't think she would have survived another 48 hours. We thought the worse was behind us, until a few days later when the vet called to say her tumors were cancerous. Luckily, they are considered a low grade and easily treatable. She is now being treated by an oncologist and receiving bi-weekly chemo treatments.
