Luke, American Staffordshire terrier and German shepherd mix

Luke is a male American Staffordshire terrier and German shepherd mix being kept at Streetdog Foundation.

Luke is the life of the party — he loves other dogs. He has been vaccinated and neutered. No need to worry: He has already house-trained.

From Luke's current caretaker:

Luke is a sweet 3 year old adorable mutt — likely mixed with some Staffordshire terrier, shepherd, and one of the fun little guessing apps even said he had some Australian Kelpie in him!! Luke came to us from a living situation where he wasn’t getting the attention or nutrition he needed in order to thrive and survive so he has been in Streetdog’s care for a few weeks now putting on some weight and getting some much needed TLC and couch time in his awesome foster home; thank goodness for our kind fosters to help in situations like these! Luke is thriving now, healthy and very adoptable! Luke loves other pups, and all people that he meets. He is super smart, and is learning new tricks all the time. He has mastered the game of fetch, likes to ride in cars, do some gentle wrestling eat some yummy treats and then get a good belly rub and a scratch on the ears after a day of fun and play.

Ember, boxer and American bulldog mix

Ember is a charming female boxer and American bulldog mix staying at Streetdog Foundation.

Ember will get along great with your other dogs. Her ideal forever home would be a cat-free environment. She has all of her shots, and she's spayed. She's mastered her house-training etiquette.

Ember's current caretakers say:

Meet Ember! We were alerted to Ember's presence outside one of the local hospitals here in the Memphis area. She was limping when we found her and it was clear that she had been on her own for some time but when our volunteers arrived to get her, she smiled up at them with her precious under bite. She was ready to be saved. We took her to our vet to get her checked out and discovered that her limp was the result of an old injury and a bone chip in her shoulder. Over the following weeks our vet's office fixed her up and made her feel so much better. This little brindle beauty was born around April of 2016 and is some sort of boxer/bulldog mix, as loving as she can be. She's been so loving towards other dogs, kids and people of all ages and would love a home with any of the above. She's not a fan of the kitty cats though. She also loves to snuggle and play. She is looking for a new foster home or even better her forever family to call her very own.

James Lee, German shepherd and Labrador retriever mix

James Lee is a lovable male German shepherd and Labrador retriever mix currently residing at Streetdog Foundation.

James Lee gets along well with other dogs and cats. James Lee is already neutered, and he has all his shots. Have no fear: He has already house-trained.

James Lee's current caretakers say:

For anyone wanting to meet James Lee, you will need to be patient. When he feels comfortable and safe. He is a sweet, chill, bed/couch potato. He may not come snuggle with you on the couch or bed, but he does like to be able to see and be near his people (without necessarily touching). He shows his affections in more subtle ways like getting up from his spot and wagging his tail a little when you come home before laying back down, or curling up on the floor just outside of the bathroom door while you shower or curling up on your side of the bed while you are away at work. He is so smart! And likes his routine. He is leash trained in that he knows he has to have a leash on to go outside, but he will tell you if he does not want to go where you are taking him. He is well behaved in that he doesn't chew/eat things he is not supposed to (i.e. shoes, socks, etc.). He is great with the cats (basically ignores them) when we are in the living room (i.e. the cats territory), but is nervous/anxious when they are in his space.
