Mollie Fay, Yorkshire terrier

Mollie Fay is an adorable female Yorkshire terrier being cared for at United Yorkie Rescue.

Mollie Fay gets along well with other dogs. United Yorkie Rescue, however, wants to place her in a home without small children. She is already housetrained. Mollie Fay is spayed and she has all her shots. Mollie Fay is a special needs pet, so please inquire about her specific care requirements.

From Mollie Fay's current caretaker:

Mollie Fay is a 17-pound bundle of sweetness and cuddles. This baby was surrendered by her loving owners, who had had her since she was a puppy. They are a sweet, elderly couple who moved to a small apartment and then discovered that Mollie Fay had bladder stones. The surgery was just too costly, so Mollie Fay’s mom put out a call to United Yorkie Rescue for help. Mollie Fay is due to have surgery soon to remove her bladder stones and it will be a while before she is ready for adoption. In the meantime, the vet has her on medicine until her surgery. Mollie Fay loves, loves to cuddle, sleep with you and just hang out on the sofa with her people. She follows her foster mom everywhere around the house and jumps up and down when her people come home. Molly would do better in a home with older or no children. Mollie has a lot of love and affection to give to a family that wants to just love on her and take care of her for the remainder of her life.

Biggie, German shepherd and Great Dane mix

Biggie is a charming male German shepherd and Great Dane mix currently residing at Magic City K9.

Biggie will get along great with your other dogs. He's neutered and vaccinated. Have no fear: He's already housetrained.

From Biggie's current caretaker:

Biggie is a fun-loving young shepherd mix! He's new to our program and just starting training, but he's showing incredible promise. Biggie loves to play ball, so he'll likely excel at retrieval work, as well.

Rosie, Yorkshire terrier

Rosie is a female Yorkshire terrier being kept at United Yorkie Rescue.

She's already housetrained, vaccinated and spayed.

Notes from Rosie's caretakers:

Rosie is a beautiful 6-1/2-year-old, 12-pound Yorkie. Since she arrived in her foster home five weeks ago, she has seen a specialist, who diagnosed her with probable inflammatory bowel disease. Rosie will need to be on a restricted prescription diet for the rest of her life. Rosie’s sweet disposition and loving nature puts a smile on the faces of all who meet her. She is a friend to all — both two-legged and four-legged. She quickly adapted to her foster mom and will most likely adapt to her forever home just as quickly. She would make a wonderful companion to a family who wants a furry best friend and a loyal companion who enjoys having her follow them around everywhere they go. Rosie loves her long walks and car rides and is always ready and willing to go wherever her person goes. She has a funny and kind of silly and goofy personality, which is oh-so-endearing.

Crystal, Yorkshire terrier

Crystal is an adorable female Yorkshire terrier dog being kept at United Yorkie Rescue.

Crystal is happy to keep company with other dogs. She's spayed and vaccinated. Fear not: She's already housetrained.

Crystal's current caretaker says:

We have reached an amazing milestone. Sweet puppy mill survivor Crystal is finally healed and looking for her fur-ever home. Crystal is an estimated 9 years old and weighs 15 pounds. Crystal is starting to crave love and absolutely loves to snuggle in the bed and get her belly rubs. She loves all the fosters and she gets so excited when a new one comes in. She immediately wants to go be mommy to them and play. Crystal deserves a home that will be patient and loving with her.

Rocco, Yorkshire terrier

Rocco is a sweet, male Yorkshire terrier currently residing at United Yorkie Rescue.

No other pets please: Rocco is looking for forever home without other dogs or cats. Rocco also would prefer a home without small children. He has mastered his housetraining etiquette. He is already neutered and he has all his shots.

Here's what Rocco's friends at United Yorkie Rescue think of him:

Rocco is a tiny, 8-year-old, 6-pound cutie. Here's his story: I wasn't treated well in my first home and as nice as the people have been to me since leaving that horrible place, I've been having trouble trying to adjust to the kindness I've been shown. I still get scared at times and will growl at the kind people. This makes them afraid to be around me, which makes me even more sad. My sweet foster mom is working with me on my trust issues. Here are a few conditions that will help me to adjust easier to my forever home. I need to be in a home that has only one mom — no one else. I do not like to be left alone for long periods of time. My preferred adopter is a woman who has some experience with dogs like me who have had some trauma in their lives, or who is a behavioral specialist or an experienced dog owner/trainer.
