A new traditional American and Italian spot, offering pizza and more, has opened its doors in the neighborhood. Called Giulia, the fresh arrival is located at 215 S. Fourth St. in Downtown.

This spot specializes in wood-fired pizza. In the mood for something different? Try the clam pizza. If you're not in the mood for a pie, you'll find items such as kale salad and pasta dishes on the menu as well. Giulia also offers a variety of small plates and cocktails.

With a four-star rating out of eight reviews on Yelp so far, Giulia has made a promising start.

Yelper Lisa D. wrote, “This is a great oasis late night in the middle of Minneapolis! The salami pizza was excellent. I want to try the rest of the menu."

And Bart F. added, "Awesome pizza! Our server convinced us to try the clam pizza. I'm not a fan of clams, but it was delicious. The service was excellent, and we loved the atmosphere."
