We took a data-driven look at the question, using Yelp to uncover which eateries have been getting a notable uptick in attention this month.
To find out who made the list, we looked at Dallas businesses on Yelp by category and counted how many reviews each received. Rather than compare them based on number of reviews alone, we calculated a percentage increase in reviews over the past month, and tracked businesses that consistently increased their volume of reviews to identify statistically significant outliers compared to past performance.

Las Palmas Tex-Mex
Now open in Uptown, this bar and Tex-Mex bistro is trending compared to other businesses categorized as "Bars" on Yelp.
Citywide, bars saw a median 2.7% increase in new reviews over the past month, but Las Palmas Tex-Mex saw an impressive 209.1% increase, with a slight downward trend from a five-star rating a month ago to 4.5 stars today.

Sauce Pizza & Wine
Whether or not you've been hearing buzz about Lake Highlands' Sauce Pizza & Wine, the Italian and pizza restraurant is a hot topic according to Yelp review data.
While businesses categorized as "Pizza" on Yelp saw a median 2.7% increase in new reviews over the past month, Sauce Pizza & Wine bagged a 34.4% increase in new reviews within that timeframe, maintaining a superior 4.5-star rating.

Namo
Uptown's Namo is also making waves.
