A new spot for cycling classes has opened its doors in the neighborhood. Located at 670 DeKalb Ave. NE, Suite D, in Inman Park, the newcomer is called Rukus Cycling Studios.
Part of the new Edge on the Beltline development, Orlando-based Rukus Cycling Studios' third Georgia location offers a variety of themed, pro-led classes every day in a screen-lined "CycleArena" where power, mileage, heart rate and more is displayed alongside what the company's website says is a points-based leaderboard. Mood lighting and music set the tone. There's also resistance training. Choose a 30-, 45-, or 60-minute session.
With a five-star rating out of three reviews on Yelp so far, the studio has already made a good impression.
Nia C., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on June 29, wrote, "I was intrigued and signed up with CyclePro Caitlin for her Lil Wayne vs. Drake class. When we arrived for our class, they knew our names, helped us sign in, helped with lockers and bike setup, and you also get a complimentary water bottle. "
Yelper Megan T. wrote, "Such a fun workout! You'll burn a ton of calories, but have a blast doing it. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful if you're not familiar with spin."
Interested? Stop by to welcome the new business to the neighborhood. Rukus Cycling Studios is open from 5:30 a.m.–8 p.m. on weekdays and 8 a.m.–4 p.m. on weekends.
