Scooby is friendly as can be, and he'll get along great with other dogs. He already has all of his shots, is neutered and house-trained.

Scooby is around 4 years old and currently weighs 10 pounds. When he first came to us, he was not the most trusting little guy. Now that he's come out of his shell and knows that he is safe, Scooby is such a sweet boy and loves to be held. He will gladly be a lap dog and give kisses to his humans. He was dumped by his previous owners.

Java is a social butterfly — she loves other dogs. Java is spayed and vaccinated, and has mastered her house-training etiquette.

From her current caretaker:

Java is 1-2 years old and weighs 95 pounds. She is very active and playful — her favorite toy is a soccer ball and she is excellent at catching. She stands perfectly still when getting a bath, too! She is sociable with other dogs and would do best with a playful dog who is similar in size.

Scooter is a social animal, and he'll get along great with other dogs. No need to worry: He's already house-trained, his vaccinations are up to date and he is neutered.

He is 6 years old and weighs 15 pounds. Scooter is sociable with other dogs. He adores his humans and wants nothing more than to be close. He’s mellow, low-maintenance and enjoys being a lap dog. He is crate-trained and walks well on a leash. He was adopted as a puppy and returned to us when his adopters got another dog who bullied him, making Scooter nervous in his home.

Notes from Skippy's caretakers:

She is 2 years old and weighs around 14 pounds. Skippy is a lovely and endearing dog. However, she will not be placed in a home with children, grandchildren, children who visit, or grandchildren who visit. Ideally, she will be placed in a home that does not have frequent new visitors or expect her to interact with strangers and are willing to confine her until their company has left. Once she's comfortable with her new family, she'll be fine, but this will require patience and discipline.

Dora is a female Staffordshire bull terrier and pit bull terrier mix in the care of Pooch Match.

Dora is friendly as can be — she loves other dogs. Dora is already spayed, vaccinated and has mastered her house-training etiquette.

Dora is 4 years old, weighs around 57 pounds and is a truly lovely dog. She was found in front of a convenience store and was microchipped, but her family never returned our calls. She has evolved to a healthy weight and enjoys entertaining herself with toys. She likes to play throwing her rope toy around and then chasing it. She's a low-maintenance dog, never demanding — no excessive barking or whining.
