Matcha Cafe Maiko makes all of its products in-house using ingredients imported from Uji, Japan. The Hawaii-based franchise has 10 locations scattered across the United States.
On the menu, expect to see items like matcha shaved ice (with matcha syrup, homemade adzuki beans, shiratama and topped with matcha cream), Golden Shogun matcha gold-leaf soft serve and matcha drinks like teas, frappes, lattes and floats.
The new addition has gotten an enthusiastic response thus far, with a 4.5-star rating out of 47 reviews on Yelp.
