A fresh bar has opened its doors in the neighborhood. The latest arrival to Lower Greenville, called Eastside Social, is located at 1928 Greenville Ave.
Eastside Social specializes in chicken-based fare, plus entertainment and libations. You'll see its signature boozy snow cones offered in three different flavors: Tiger's Blood with Cimarrón tequila, blue raspberry with Absolut Citron vodka and the Plantation rum piña colada. On the rest of the menu, expect to see items such as chicken wings, chicken sandwiches, sides like fried pickles and a sizable assortment of alcoholic beverages, including frozen margaritas, an extensive selection of beers, a build-your-own-mule option and other classic cocktails.
The new watering hole still seems to be finding its footing with a three-star rating out of two reviews so far on Yelp.
"This place is awesome. Good drinks and friendly staff — the bartenders were very attentive. I came here with some friends for sunset and we stayed the whole night," wrote Sara H., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new joint on August 8. "We loved the dart room and games. All-around good vibes, too."
