Topping the list is Korean spot DWJ 2, which offers barbecue and more. Located at 2156 Young Ave., it's the highest-rated business in the neighborhood, boasting four stars out of 64 reviews on Yelp. 

Among the menu options, look for Kimbap, which is your choice of beef, chicken or kimchi served with pickled yellow radish, cucumber and crab meat on a Korean roll. Nokji Bokeum, fried octopus in a spicy chili sauce served with vegetables, is also an item on the menu.

2. Central BBQ

Next up is Central BBQ, a spot to score barbecue, situated at 2249 Central Ave. With four stars out of 1,397 reviews on Yelp, it's proven to be a local favorite.

3. Soul Fish Cafe

Southern spot Soul Fish Cafe, which offers seafood and soul food, is another top choice. Yelpers give the business, located at 862 S. Cooper St., 4.5 stars out of 323 reviews.

4. The Bubble Bistro

The Bubble Bistro, a cosmetics and beauty supply spot, is another much-loved neighborhood go-to, with five stars out of 25 Yelp reviews. Head over to 425 N. Watkins St. to see for yourself. 

Offering handmade soaps made with food-quality ingredients and colorants,  also look for body washes, specialty soaps and body oils among the variety of products.
