A new bar and traditional American gastropub has made its debut in the neighborhood. The fresh addition to Preston Hollow, called Longhorn Icehouse, can be found at 1901 W. Northwest Highway.
Longhorn Icehouse offers 20,000 square feet of dining and entertainment space, which includes an expansive arcade game area and live music venue with nightly DJs. On the menu, expect to see items like fried zucchini, chicken wings, quesadillas, Greek-style cheese fries and a gyros sandwich on grilled pita bread.
Longhorn Icehouse has already attracted fans thus far, considering it's garnered a five-star rating out of four reviews on Yelp.
Thi C., who was the first Yelper to review the new haunt on Sept. 30, wrote, "Spacious venue with an amazing atmosphere. ... Did I mention [the] food is great too[?] The burgers and gyros are absolutely delicious!"
