A new Mexican and French spot has made its debut in the neighborhood. The new arrival to Near North, called Tzuco, is located at 720 N. State St.
Tzuco offers a variety of Mexican and French-inspired dishes. The menu features ceviche, steak tartare and tortilla soup.
Tzuco has already attracted fans thus far, with a four-star rating out of 29 reviews on Yelp.
Ness S., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Oct. 20, wrote, "For dinner, we shared the avocado flatbread appetizer, which was delicious. To be honest, when my wife suggested it, I wasn't enthused, but it was wonderful. Lots of flavors, but nothing overwhelming, and the freshness of the avocado stood out."
Yelper Toby D. added, “For the food, we had the guacamole and shrimp. We are not adventurous so [we] had the grasshoppers on the side, but the guac and shrimp were incredible, the watermelon with the shrimp was diced perfectly."
