A new baker has debuted in the neighborhood. The new addition, called Butchertown Grocery, is located at 743 E. Main St.

This spot serves up a wide array of pastries including croissants, Vermont maple danishes and more. You'll also find take-and-bake dinners available with lasagna and chicken pot pie among the offerings. Take a gander at the full menu here.

With a 4.5-star rating out of three reviews on Yelp so far, the new spot seems to be a welcome addition to the neighborhood.

Saphace A., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Oct. 29, wrote, "I got a light drip coffee while my friends ordered the latte with oat milk. We all enjoyed! The baked goods looked fantastic, too."

And Helen H. wrote, "This is a wonderful new bakery for Louisville! It offers bread that rivals the Blue Dog bakery, yummy sandwiches and a great chocolate chip cookie. It has the same attractive decor as its sister restaurant a few blocks away."

Swing on by to take a peek for yourself: Butchertown Grocery is open from 7 a.m.–7 p.m. daily.
