Fletcher, American Staffordshire terrier and boxer mix

Fletcher is a charming male American Staffordshire terrier and boxer mix being kept at Northwest Animal Companions.

Fletcher loves other dogs. He is looking for cat-free home. Fletcher is neutered and vaccinated. He's mastered his house-training etiquette.

From Fletcher:

I am a ball of energy, wiggles and love and I will give my belly up to anyone that is willing to rub it. I am a mystery of a breed. I am possibly a Staffordshire mix but the mix part is not yet determined. Based on my boxing moves at the dog park, I am likely part boxer. I have quite the personality. A few seconds with me and you will be wooed with my charming smile and affection. I love to cuddle up on a recliner with you and when you go to bed, I will climb in with you, find my spot and stay there all night. I’m a very good sleeper. If you are not there, I will happily make myself comfortable in your bed. I am very good with all the other dogs I meet, young old, big, small. I am a young dog and I need exercise.

Charm, dachshund

Charm is a winsome female dachshund dog currently housed at Oregon Dachshund Rescue Inc.

Charm gets along well with other dogs, cats and children. She's mastered her house-training etiquette. She's already spayed and vaccinated.

Here's what Charm's friends at Oregon Dachshund Rescue Inc. think of her:

Charm is an 8 year old, 7.5 lb Isabella grey dachshund. If you didn’t notice in the pictures, she is unique as she is completely hairless. There is absolutely nothing wrong with her, but this happens occasionally to dogs with her coloring due to a genetic inherited condition. This tiny girl had never been to the vet or had regular care but is now current on her shots and care. She is good with cats and people. However, due to her small size she would do best around older dog-savvy children. She likes to meet new humans and would love nothing more than to spend her golden years as a lap dog.

Porsha, Chinese crested dog

Porsha is a female Chinese crested dog in the care of My Way Home Dog Rescue.

Porsha plays well with others — she loves other dogs. She is already house-trained. She has been vaccinated and spayed.

Notes from Porsha's caretakers:

Porsha came to us from a hoarding case. Until a couple months ago, she lived outside her entire life. She is a Velcro dog. She wants to be wherever you are and will happily snuggle your lap if you sit down. She does have separation anxiety, as do many dogs from hoarding cases. Through it all, she is a sweet, sweet dog. She does fine in a crate, but she may mess in it if not taken out before hand. Because she has lived outside her whole life, potty training is new to her and she will need a patient and experienced owner to teach her when to go outside. Since she is a hairless dog, she will need a family that understands that taking care of her skin is important, almost as important as the cute sweaters she will need to be in all the time in the winter.

Lucky, Labrador retriever mix

Lucky is a lovable male Labrador retriever mix in the care of The Rescue Faerie.

Lucky is a social animal — he'll get along great with your other dogs. His vaccinations are already up to date, and he's neutered. He's already house-trained.

Here's what Lucky's friends at The Rescue Faerie think of him:

Where to start.. this lovely Gentleman deserves so much more than he got. He was surrendered because his family didn’t have room for him anymore. He has spent over 6 months in the Mexico shelter before we met him, and decided we could give him a shot at a loving warm home he deserves. You simply can’t look into his eyes and not fall in love. He is gentle and calm and just beautiful. He enjoys a walk and chin scratches. He is 9 years old with so much love to give!
