Topping the list is Sarang. Located at 1908 Eastern Parkway in Deer Park, the Korean spot, which offers soups and more, is the highest-rated low-priced soup spot in Louisville, boasting 4.5 stars out of 165 reviews on Yelp.

Yelper Natasha P., who reviewed Sarang on Oct. 6, wrote, "Sarang means 'love' in Korean, and that is something that you definitely taste when you decide to eat here. The quality and taste are consistent, and the portions are large. Even better is that the price is more than reasonable for what you get."

Yelper Haiqiao J. wrote, "Great little shop. Super friendly service and fast. Got the kimbap and rice cake dish. Both were fantastic, but I think I liked the kimbap more."

2. Zoup!

Next up is Central Business District's Zoup!, situated at 318 S. Fourth St. It's a location of the national chain. With 4.5 stars out of 121 reviews on Yelp, the spot to score soups, salads and sandwiches has proven to be a local favorite for those looking for a budget-friendly option.

Yelp can tell you more about Zoup!.

"As former spice merchants, we learned how to use seasonings from around the world to create unique and crave-worthy flavors," according to the history section of the business' Yelp profile. "With kitchen-door access to hundreds of restaurants, we soon realized that really good soup was hard to find. So, we set out to transform the world of soup."

Furthermore, we found this information on Yelp about the business' signature items: "At Zoup!, we offer a wide variety of daily soups, including recipes that are low-fat, made with gluten-free ingredients, vegetarian, dairy-free and spicy - each served with a big hunk of freshly baked bread."

Yelper Luke C. added, "So many options on the menu for all types of people. Always mixing it up with the soup of the day and always fresh delicious food. I work right down the street from them, and I'm easily in there 3 or more times a week."
