Northwest's Mar y Tierra, at 15 N. Fourth Ave. (at C Street), is another top choice, with Yelpers giving the budget-friendly Mexican food truck and caterer 4.5 stars out of 47 reviews. 

In keeping with its name, which translates to sea and land, the restaurant's burritos, tacos and tostadas come in meat and seafood varieties.

4. El Ranchero

Last but not least is El Ranchero, a food truck that offers tacos and more in Lynwood Hills. It's another low-priced go-to, with four stars out of 65 Yelp reviews. Head over to 495 Telegraph Canyon Road to see for yourself.
