Local manager also came in fourth in terms of local employers adding new jobs by occupation. In the past month, 75 companies listed open jobs for Kansas City-based workers in the industry.

Top companies seeking local managers include Jeff Zigmant - State Farm Agent, Farmers Insurance and KC Behavioral Health Holdings. According to a recent job opening posted by KC Behavioral Health Holdings, "Behavioral Health Holdings, LLC creates meaningful changes in the lives of individuals with disabilities and their families through the use of evidence-based practices and dedicated service providers."

Farmers Insurance also posted jobs for sales managers and account executives, and KC Behavioral Health Holdings sought behavior analysts, supervisors and direct support professionals.
