Local manager also came in first in terms of local employers adding new jobs by occupation. In the past month, 59 companies listed open jobs for Oakland-based workers in the industry.

Other top companies seeking local hires in the same category include Brown & Toland Medical Group. According to one of its recent job openings, the business describes itself as "A Legacy of Innovation and Excellence."

Jobs posted by the East Oakland Community Project in the past month in the area also included accountants, while Brown & Toland Medical Group was hiring supervisors.
