Oakland is seeing a strong demand for managers' skills. Employers in the industry posted 44 new jobs over the past week, and 196 in the last month, ranking second among top job categories in the local area, according to ZipRecruiter, a leading online employment marketplace.

Local manager also came in first in terms of local employers adding new jobs by occupation. In the past month, 59 companies listed open jobs for Oakland-based workers in the industry.

One of the top employers seeking local managers is East Oakland Community Project. Other top companies seeking local hires in the same category include Brown & Toland Medical Group. According to one of its recent job openings, the business describes itself as "A Legacy of Innovation and Excellence."

Jobs posted by the East Oakland Community Project in the past month in the area also included accountants, while Brown & Toland Medical Group was hiring supervisors.
