Roll out the barrels: Hopnonymous Brewing debuts in Kearny MesaPhoto: Hopnonymous Brewing Co Z./Yelp

A new brewery and taproom has opened in the neighborhood. Called Hopnonymous Brewing, it's at 7705 Convoy Court in Kearny Mesa.

Hopnonymous Brewing's offerings include Mexican lager, blonde ale and a variety of IPAs, which are sold by the glass, flight or growler.

The fresh arrival has garnered rave reviews thus far, with a five-star rating out of seven reviews on Yelp.

Madeline F., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Jan. 11, wrote, "We found Hopnonymous in our search for new beer and what a find it has been! The beer is flavorful and the owner is welcoming. Their hazy IPA is one of the best I've had in San Diego."

Yelper Bill V. added, "I had a flight of five beers and enjoyed all of them. Iris and the Giant Peach (a fruited sour) was a standout, and the Plan of Attack DIPA was also excellent.”

Intrigued? Stop in to try it for yourself. Hopnonymous Brewing is open from noon–9 p.m. on Monday-Thursday, 11 a.m.–10 p.m. on Friday-Saturday and 11 a.m.–9 p.m. on Sunday.
