A new ramen spot has debuted in the neighborhood. Located in the new Urbanspace food hall at 152 W. 52nd St., the newcomer is called TomoTomo.

One of 15 vendors in Urbanspace's latest food hall (the group's fourth in Manhattan), TomoTomo is a spinoff of chef Tomo Kubo's East Village ramen shop TabeTomo. Like that spot, the new kiosk offers both ramen and tsukemen, a variation on ramen in which the noodles are dipped in a separately served broth.

At TomoTomo, you can choose from three styles of ramen and tsukemen — classic tonkotsu (pork), seafood or veggie — which you can customize with extras like pork belly and soft-boiled egg. Other menu items include appetizers, donburi rice bowls and omusubi rice balls.

TomoTomo has gotten an enthusiastic response thus far, with a five-star rating out of 12 reviews on Yelp.

Annie G., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Jan. 10, wrote, "A great option for lunch if you work in the area or takeout on your way home."

Yelper Shani T. noted, "Great addition to the food hall!"

Intrigued? Stop in to try it for yourself. TomoTomo is open from 10 a.m.–10 p.m. on Monday-Saturday and 10 a.m.–7 p.m. on Sunday.
