This weekend, Oakland will be a little less lively. While there are no confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Oakland as of Friday afternoon, city officials declared a state of emergency on Wednesday, banning events with more than 1,000 people at all city-owned facilities. Large events at the Fox Theater, Paramount Theater, Oakland Convention Center, and the Oakland Arena and Coliseum are cancelled until March 31.
That means some big events for this weekend are cancelled. Here's a short roundup, along with links to event rescheduling and refund information.
