Max, pit bull terrier mix

Max is a lovable male pit bull terrier mix being cared for at Pitties and Purrs.

Max loves to socialize and he gets along well with other dogs. Good news: he's already house-trained, has had all of his shots and he's neutered.

Here's what Max's friends at Pitties and Purrs think of him:

Max is a catch but life dealt him a tough hand, though we refused to let his future be anything less than amazing. He has a tendency to be shy and hesitant in new situation. He hasn't filled with very much, if any human interaction. Despite this, Max has overcome many obstacles in just a short amount of time.

Hazel, American Staffordshire terrier and Labrador retriever mix

Hazel is an adorable female American Staffordshire terrier and Labrador retriever mix currently residing at MAS Rescue.

She's mastered her house-training etiquette, is spayed and vaccinated.

Here's what Hazel's friends at MAS Rescue think of her:

Hazel is an approximately eight-months-old and 60 pounds . She is very intelligent, loving, active and playful. Hazel is in foster care with children and should be fine with older kids (over 12). She also gets along well with the other dogs (large and small) in her foster home. Hazel is crate trained and has had no accidents inside. Obedience training would be a great idea for this young pup and will be a wonderful bonding experience.

Tatum, Labrador retriever mix

Tatum is a female Labrador retriever mix currently residing at Pitties and Purrs.

Tatum gets along well with other dogs. Her ideal forever home would be a cat-free environment. Pitties and Purrs, however, wants to place her in a home without small children. Her vaccinations are already up to date and she's spayed. Fear not: She is already house-trained.

Tatum's current caretakers say:

Tatum is a beautiful black/white lab mix. Before P&P rescued her, she was in a shelter in Georgia. Now she's in a foster home where she lives with several fur siblings. Some of Tatum's favorite activities are hiking, running, playing fetch and having a stick in her mouth. She has lots of energy and would do well with an active family with a larger dog that could show her the ropes. She also loves belly rubs so much.
