Embry, corgi mix

Embry is a darling female corgi mix being cared for at Little Rascals Rescue.

Embry's ideal forever home would be a cat-free environment. Little Rascals Rescue recommends Embry be placed in a home without small children. Fear not: She's already house-trained, her vaccinations are up to date, and she is spayed.

From Embry's current caretaker:

Embry is a 4-year-old of medium size. She adores guys, but has never been able to warm up to a woman. She is a totally different dog with men. She is sweet and loving and seeks out their affection. She really needs an all male house. At home in her own environment, she is confident and does great, but she is still not interested in walks or car rides. With the right person, we are hoping she will work up to that one day.

Nikki Sixx, Rhodesian ridgeback and black Labrador retriever mix

Nikki Sixx is a male Rhodesian ridgeback and black Labrador retriever mix in the care of Rockstar Canine Rescue & Sanctuary.

Nikki Sixx loves other dogs. He is looking for cat-free home and will do best in a home without small children. He's been vaccinated and neutered, and he is already house-trained. Nikki Sixx is a special needs pet, so please inquire about his specific care requirements.

Notes from Nikki Sixx's caretakers:

We took Nikki Sixx in on Feb. 27, 2017 and soon learned he had an old break in his left front leg as result of being shot. This caused him pain and makes walking slow and difficult. He had little trust of people, but in time he began to show us affection on his terms. Although he can't walk long distances, he does enjoy car rides. He has a sweet disposition once he trusts you and very much enjoys belly rubs.

Billy, miniature pinscher and terrier mix

Billy is a handsome male miniature pinscher and terrier mix in the care of Mini Mighty Mutts Rescue.

Billy plays well with others, and he'll get along great with your other dogs. Have no fear: He's already house-trained and neutered, and he has had all his shots.

Here's what Billy's friends at Mini Mighty Mutts Rescue think of him:

Billy is approximately 7 years old. He is friendly, housebroken and can use a dog door. Billy's foster has been practicing walking on a leash, and he is getting better and better by the day. We love his cute little prance when he walks because it looks like he's on a pogo stick.

Kaiser, pit bull terrier and Siberian husky mix

Kaiser is a sweet male pit bull terrier and Siberian husky mix currently housed at Mayday Pit Bull Rescue & Advocacy.

Kaiser will get along great with your other dogs. Mayday Pit Bull Rescue & Advocacy, however, thinks he will do best in a home without small children. He's been vaccinated and neutered, and he is already house-trained.

Notes on Kaiser:

I'm very smart and I have a solid foundation of obedience training that includes sit, down, down stay, recall and place command. I'm an excellent runner and even know how to use a treadmill. I have awesome leash manners, and I travel well in the car. I can be a little fearful of new people and situations, but warm up quickly if you are slow and patient with me. Once I know I can trust you, I am super affectionate and very sweet.

Carter, Shih Tzu and chihuahua mix

Carter is a charming male Shih Tzu and chihuahua mix in the care of Tender Paws Pet Rescue.

Carter is happy to keep company with other dogs. He's mastered his house-training etiquette, and he is neutered and vaccinated.

Carter's current caretakers say:

Carter is 6 years old. He grew up in foster homes with horses, pigs, chickens, cats, other dogs of all sizes and kids from age 2 to age 15. He is very well adjusted to all things. He is a cuddler and lover. He loves toys, especially tennis balls, and a soft bed.

Felicia, pit bull terrier

Felicia is a female pit bull terrier dog currently residing at Mayday Pit Bull Rescue & Advocacy.

No other pets please: Felicia is looking for forever home without other dogs or cats. She will do best in a home without small children. She's been vaccinated and spayed, and she is already house-trained. Felicia is a special needs pet, so please inquire about her specific care requirements.

From Felicia's current caretaker:

Felicia is a happy, goofy, playful and affectionate girl. She may take a minute getting to trust you, as humans were not very kind to her previously. She has a solid foundation of obedience, to include sit, down, down stay, recall and place command, excellent leash manners, and she rides really well in a car. Once you have earned her trust, she becomes an affectionate goofball extraordinaire.

Téa, pit bull terrier

Téa is a female pit bull terrier dog staying at Mayday Pit Bull Rescue & Advocacy.

More about Téa:

If you love affectionate dogs that are full of kisses and have brief spurts of energy, I’m your girl. I love to sunbathe and chase lizards too. I can be a little shy at first, but if you give me a chance, you will see that I am a happy girl who is full of personality. This tri-pawed gal can play and love like any dog with four legs. In fact, you would think I was born with three legs.
