Topping the list is Steak 44. Located at 5101 N. 44th St. in Camelback East, it is the most popular high-end bar in Phoenix, boasting 4.5 stars out of 1,269 reviews on Yelp. 

We looked there to learn more about Steak 44.

Encanto's Restaurant Progress, located at 702 W. Montecito Ave., is another top choice, with Yelpers giving the fancy bar and New American spot 4.5 stars out of 204 reviews. 

Yelper Texas H., who reviewed Restaurant Progress on Feb. 19, wrote, "Long story made short, the chef at this place doesn't hold back on pushing amazing flavors and squeezing the most out of them with other flavor profiles that compliment. The result is like holding a bullhorn to the plate. The food doesn't just speak to you, it screams."

Ryen B. noted, "Little gem salad came with fab green goddess dressing. Roasted Brussels sprouts and grilled broccolini were both tasty. And the German potato salad was really flavorful too. Mora Italian in Camelback East, is another pricey go-to, with four stars out of 638 Yelp reviews. Head over to 5651 N. Seventh St. to see for yourself.
