Baltimore's health care industry is experiencing strong job growth. Local employers posted 398 new jobs over the past week and 1,646 in the last month, more than any other local industry, according to ZipRecruiter, a leading online employment marketplace.

The health care sector also came in second in terms of local employers adding new jobs. In the past month, 234 companies listed open jobs for Baltimore-based workers in that area.

Top companies hiring locally in health care include General Healthcare Resources, Ascension, B07 and Therapy Spot.

Jobs posted by General Healthcare Resources in the past month in Baltimore included registered nurses, licensed practical nurses and certified nursing assistants, while Ascension, B07 was hiring registered nurses, and Therapy Spot sought speech language pathologists, occupational therapists and physical therapists.
