Hot job skills: Truck drivers in demand in Stockton

Stockton is seeing strong demand for truck drivers' skills. Employers in the industry posted 34 new jobs over the past week, and 166 in the last month, more than any other job category in the area, according to ZipRecruiter, a leading online employment marketplace.

Local truck driver also came in first in terms of local employers adding new jobs by occupation. In the past month, 26 companies listed open jobs for Stockton-based workers in the industry.

One of the top employers seeking local truck drivers is Staffmark. "Staffmark's mission is simple: To be a great partner to our customers, our employees and the communities we serve," states one of the company's recently posted job openings.

Other top companies seeking local truck drivers include Quality Driver Solutions.
