Craving pizza? You're in luck: a new business has opened its doors in the neighborhood. The fresh arrival to Paradise Valley, called PV Pie & Wine, is located at 4740 E. Shea Blvd., Suite 102.

According to the business' Facebook page, the craft kitchen specializes in "serving oven-fired pizzas, pastas, salads and wine-friendly entrees."

When it comes to pizza, PV Pie & Wine serves up seven different pies including My Margherita, made with spicy red sauce, fresh mozzarella, basil and heirloom tomato. The menu also features more than 20 different wines and items ranging from shrimp and crab ceviche to Sicilian craft meatballs.

With a five-star rating out of four reviews on Yelp so far, the new wine bar seems to be a welcome addition to the neighborhood.

Brian H., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on June 16, wrote, "I ordered the surf and turf mac-n-cheese, which was amazing. And the beet salad is the best I've had. My wife ordered the skirt steak [cooked] rare and fries with truffle aioli sauce. The steak was actually rare and delicious, and you've got to try the fries!"

Yelper Frederic R. added, “Great restaurant and great ambiance! We started with shishito peppers, and then had lasagna and ravioli. Really good! Of course, with a couple of glasses of wine. We will be back to try more.”

Swing on by to take a peek for yourself: PV Pie & Wine is open from 11 a.m.–10 p.m. on Monday-Thursday, 11 a.m.–11 p.m. on Friday, 10:30 a.m.–11 p.m. on Saturday and 10:30 a.m.–10 p.m. on Sunday.
