Hiring for registered nurses in Baltimore is going strong. Employers in the industry posted 70 new jobs over the past week, and 218 in the last month, more than for any other job category in the area, according to ZipRecruiter, a leading online employment marketplace.

Local registered nurse also came in sixth in terms of local employers adding new jobs by occupation. In the past month, 32 companies listed open jobs for Baltimore-based workers in the industry.

Top companies seeking local registered nurses include General Healthcare Resources, GHR Travel Nursing and American Medical Staffing.

Jobs posted by General Healthcare Resources in the past month in the area also included certified nursing assistants and licensed practical nurses.
