Eureka!, which many refer to as ‘Eureka Burger,’ has expanded its local presence adding a fifth location in the Bay Area this month in Santa Clara at 2762 Augustine Drive. It is located in the Santa Clara Square Marketplace shopping center and made its debut on July 12. Beyond the local area, the Southern California-based chain has two dozen restaurants in California, as well as one in Seattle and one in Boise.

Eureka! was built around the concept of making everything in-house, and using only the most premium meats. According to Mercury News, their burgers consist of grass-and carrot-fed beef that is produced near Bakersfield and is also hormone-free. Every sauce used in the food is hand-made, and all the ingredients used in their cocktails are either hand-squeezed or hand-crafted, which includes their 40 small-batch whiskeys.

Eureka! founder Paul Frederick tells FSR magazine, “Guests can discover their new favorite style of burger or unique small-batch whiskey while supporting the local community through our beverage program featuring the best breweries, distilleries, and wineries in California. Our goal is to be the ultimate dining destination for all.”

The spotlight of Eureka’s food menu is their 28-Day Dry-Aged Bone Marrow Burger which is only made in limited quantities each day at each restaurant. The Bison Burger and the Fresno Fig Burger are two other fan favorites, along with the spicy fried chicken sandwich and the fried chicken tenders both of which are hand-breaded.

“We try to be the non-chain chain,” Joe Bejos, the vice president of kitchen operations, told Mercury News. Bejos also says that locations will feature at least six brand new menu items in August. There will be a Truffle Mushroom Burger and a Double Stacked Burger along with four new appetizers including roasted beets with whipped feta, an ahi tuna stack, grilled eggplant, and grilled cauliflower.

According to their website, in addition to the enticing menu, Eureka! also offers live music all day on Thursdays as well as specials all week long. The new Santa Clara location is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. every day and it has a daily “Hoppy Hour” every day from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
