Mountain Winery in Saratoga has just released an impressive lineup of musical acts and comedians slated to play over the next six months as part of its first full concert season in three years. Tickets to the shows go on sale to the general public on Friday, April 8th at 10 a.m. The list of artists spans several genres including oldies, classic rock, R&B, alternative rock, country, rockabilly, ‘80s new wave, and more. The concert series kicks off on May 13th with country music star Dustin Lynch, and itcomes to a close on October 15 with iconic singer-songwriter Van Morrison.

Mountain Winery is a unique concert venue that pits the stage right up against the entrance to the historic, Spanish-style winery building that was built in the early ‘1900s. It started holding the summer concert series all the way back in 1958. Some of the earliest big-name performers included Diana Ross, Ray Charles, and Lyle Lovett — the latter of whom will be making a return to the stage in Saratoga later this year on Wednesday, June 22nd.

Some of the other notable music acts hitting the stage this year are John Fogerty, ZZ Top, Boyz II Men, Sarah McLachlan, Boy George and Culture Club, and Chicago which is the only act that will be performing two nights in a row on September 6th and 7th. There is also a nice lineup of comedians that will perform at the 2,500-seat outdoor amphitheater including Chelsea Handler, David Spade, and Jim Gaffigan.

The winery is selling tickets through AXS. The concert series webpage says “with many shows selling out in minutes, in preparation for the 2022 Concert Season we recommend that you pre-register for your AXS account now so that purchasing tickets will be faster and easier the moment they go on sale.” You can see the full list of performers on Mountain Winery’s calendar page.
