Amid the rhythmic hum of traffic in downtown Oakland on a Sunday afternoon, chaos turned the corner as an intense high-speed car chase unfolded, leaving destruction in its wake. The chase met its dramatic conclusion when an Acura SUV raced through streets, collided with a fire hydrant, and crashed through the front of Wise Sons Deli, shattering windows and counters in the process. The ghost responsible for such a scene left the misfortune behind, fleeing the moment before reality could catch up.
As fate would have it, Wise Sons Deli was closed during this frantic event, sparing the patrons and staff any confrontations with screeching tires and flying debris.
