A juvenile victim lost their life in a shooting incident yesterday night, in Gilroy, California, according to NBC Bay Area.
The victim, suffering from at least one gunshot wound, was brought to St. Louise Regional Hospital. Despite the best efforts of medical personnel, the victim sadly did not survive, as KSBW reported. Police believe the shooting took place in the 2100 block of Columbine Court in Gilroy.
So far, the identity of the victim has been withheld pending notification of next of kin, and an investigation into the tragic incident is ongoing. While there is no suspect currently in custody, Gilroy police do not believe there is a threat to the public at this time, as mentioned by KRON4.
